This graded unit is designed to provide evidence that the learner has achieved the following principle aims of the HNC Make-up Artistry TV, Film and Theatre Group Award.
Learners must demonstrate achievement of the following:
- Apply sound technical knowledge together with practical expertise in all aspects of makeup artistry enabling them to work confidently and competently within the TV, Film and Theatre industry.
- Develop competencies in a range of specialised areas.
- Develop organisational and interpersonal skills when dealing with people.
- Adopt an innovative and creative approach to their work.
- Develop an awareness and use of transferable skills.
- Analyse problems, plan solutions and be responsive to the challenges posed by changes in the TV, Film and Theatre industry.
- Produce a professional portfolio of examples of their work.
- Prepare for progression to further study in the Make-up Artistry industry
